The SCS Sheet Line accepts sheets of stretcher-leveled, roller-leveled or temper passed hot-roll. Sheets are conveyor-fed into the Brush Unit where three sets of brushes remove dirt, rust and nearly all scale, leaving a clean, smooth, rust inhibitive surface. The dirt and scale are flushed away with water by the closed-loop filtration system and sheets are air-dried as they exit.
The SCS Sheet Line is amazingly compact, and only an additional 15 feet is needed to put a second Brush Unit in series with the first. This second unit allows an increase in line speed that boosts output 80%.
The entire base of the SCS Brushing Unit moves back and forth to distribute contact more uniformly across the entire surface of the brush. This increases brush life and avoids brushing a 'pattern' into the surface of the material.
